sometimes when i feel stuck in the muck
i create . something

there are times i judge myself for stepping
away from paints . but i've come to realize

moments away
are just moments filled with different creative energies

it helps to write them all down . give myself credit
when i forget that im creative even if im not painting

sometimes i judge myself inappropriately
focus on the didn't do rather than the dids
